Thanks to all of the online dating tools that are out there in the world, singles might be able to find one another better and quicker than ever before. Dating has never been easier or more prevalent thanks to online dating, but the question remains, is anybody courting anymore? Has the net effectively killed dating rituals because of the facility we can now exploit across the web? Would we even know what courting was or how to coax it back into our personal interactions?

It’s not that we can’t have the wonder of dating like it used to be. In a very real sense meeting someone online then having the guts to meet them off it is in every way a leap of faith, a true jumping across a chasm of unknown. What we need to do then is live as much for this wonder and unknown as we do the science of culling online and all that our efficient adult friend finding search engines can help us with.
